A unique benefit for students in the Internship Program is being paired with a mentor. Our mentors include alumni and experienced professionals across the country who are passionate about helping students learn about the industry and their specific field of interest. Mentors also assist mentee(s) with networking, navigating challenging work situations and building self-confidence. Please consider becoming a mentor to a THF intern!
Each year, the T. Howard Foundation hosts 80-100 students for a 2½-day professional development seminar to provide them with expert speakers, panel discussions, resources, and guidance as they prepare to enter their internships. Please consider volunteering at our orientation to help interns understand the importance and value of maximizing their summer internship opportunity.
Hosting a networking or recruitment event provides your organization with exclusive access to our talent pool and the opportunity to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for your full-time hiring needs. These events also provide attendees with valuable insights into your industry, business, and programs, as well as the skills and experiences needed to succeed as members of your teams.
