Host companies must commit to the following to host a summer intern:
Company partners participating in THF’s summer internship program are invited to work through the Foundation to place part-time interns in the spring and fall.
THF requires that spring and fall interns be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university. Companies are not required to offer paid internships to THF interns during spring and fall semesters. Internships must be no less than 10 hours and a maximum of 24 hours per week.
THF does not require that spring or fall interns receive academic credit, and leaves it to the discretion of each company host.
The T. Howard Foundation’s talent pool of internship candidates is comprised of nearly 500 college students with a wide range of academic majors, geographic locations and skill sets. To best serve our internship host company internship hosts, THF works with you to facilitate the placement of summer interns.
