Sheerica is a dynamic political and public affairs professional whose career bridges media, government, and global diplomacy. A proud T. Howard Foundation alumna, she interned at The New York Times in 2018 while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Marketing at Georgia State University. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in the power of storytelling and public engagement.
Sheerica went on to earn her Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she focused on global politics. Her professional path has included roles at POLITICO, the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, with a continued commitment to equity, access, and civic impact.
She currently serves in leadership as Political Director for Senator Jon Ossoff’s re-election campaign in her home state of Georgia.
