Pisei is a Vice President – Senior Analyst at Moody’s Ratings within the US Public Finance Group. In her role, she provides ratings, credit analysis and research for a portfolio of US states and territories. Pisei started her career at Moody’s as an Associate Analyst on the US local government ratings team covering a portfolio of local governments in the Southeast region.

Pisei received her Master of Public Administration in Public & Nonprofit Management & Policy from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service. During her time at Wagner, she served as a Teaching Assistant for graduate courses in microeconomics and financial management. She also worked as an editing assistant for the Hundredth Monkey Collective, which created video content for nonprofit organizations.

Before pursuing her master’s degree, Pisei was an Advertising Sales Planner at Discovery Communications. She started her full-time role at Discovery after graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. The summer before her senior year at GW, she completed her T. Howard internship at Discovery on the Affiliate Sales team.
