Niambi is a seasoned communications strategist with more than 20 years of professional experience across various industries, including broadcast news, global health, higher education, and financial services.
Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Internal Communications for Walker & Dunlop, Niambi provides strategic communications counsel to senior executives across the company and leads the implementation of key change management and employee engagement initiatives.
Niambi began her career at ABC News in New York. She credits that early experience – afforded to her by the T. Howard Foundation – for giving her the ability to pivot and adapt quickly, execute under pressure, deliver on deadline, connect with people of all backgrounds, and work collaboratively as a team – skills that have served her well over the years.
A proud graduate of the illustrious Howard University, Niambi earned her B.A. in Communications. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband, son, and dog. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing ALL the things – exercising, salsa dancing, roller skating, karaoke singing, floral arranging, volunteering in the community, supporting local businesses, visiting beautiful vineyards, and traveling to tropical climates.
