Mikayla Barnett is a Senior Product Leader with extensive experience building growth and personalization platforms that reach millions of users. Currently serving as Vice President, MarTech Engagement & Communications Product at Goldman Sachs, she leads the product strategy behind marketing technology across various digital communication channels.

Mikayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her career in media and technology began early: as a T. Howard Foundation intern at AMC Networks in 2015, she contributed to the development of SundanceNow Doc Club, gaining hands-on experience in digital media at one of the industry’s most storied networks.

She has since held roles at Meta and American Express, where she honed her expertise in personalization and data-driven product strategy, before rising to her current leadership position at Goldman Sachs. Beyond her corporate work, Mikayla co-founded It’s a She Thing, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit advancing women’s empowerment, and serves on the Board of Directors of Sad Girls Club, expanding mental health access for Gen Z and millennial women of color. A proud Brooklyn native, she brings both analytical rigor and a deeply human perspective to everything she builds.
