Josie is an experienced development executive working across high-end international television in both the US and UK markets. She joined 22Summers in August of this year following her tenure as Head of Development at The Ink Factory, where she oversaw a slate of more than 20 projects spanning original drama and IP-led adaptations.
Based in London since 2023, Josie is leading the company’s development strategy, mentoring the development team, and broadened the slate. Earlier in her career, Josie worked within AMC Networks’ International Development team, contributing to original commissions and co-productions for AMC, BBC America, Sundance TV and AMC Studios, including KILLING EVE, STATE OF THE UNION, and THE SPLIT.
Josie has established strong creative relationships with writers, producers and commissioners alike, and across major broadcasters and streamers. Her work is defined by clear creative leadership, rigorous script development and an ability to balance artistic vision with commercial strategy. At 22Summers, she plays a key role in shaping and focusing the company’s development slate as it enters its next phase of growth for the years ahead.
