Alex is a seasoned communications professional with a proven track record of leadership across various Fortune 500 organizations. As Industry Communications & Community Engagement Lead – North America at Visa, Alex is a strategic communicator focusing on elevating Visa’s initiatives with small businesses, community partners, and industry stakeholders.Vice President of Communications at Fiserv, heading external and internal public relations and communications initiatives for the Clover brand and Vice President of Communications at ESSENCE Ventures, overseeing executive, external, internal communications and social media storytelling across the company’s portfolio of brands.

Prior to joining ESSENCE, Alex spearheaded the Consumer PR and multicultural communications disciplines for Xbox at Microsoft, where she led global gaming public relations initiatives and strategy. During her tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, Alex managed global and North America communications for the Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Sprite brands. Additional experience includes several years at top PR agency, Allied Global Marketing.

Alex is an alumna of Spelman College and an MBA graduate of The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. Alex was recently named one of the top 50 Women in Communications by Women We Admire and in 2024, was named the 2024 Career Influencer of the Year from the T. Howard Foundation.
