Please join us in congratulating T. Howard Foundation (THF) alumnus, Michael Huang (THF ‘20) for being selected as the inaugural recipient of the Pay It Forward Scholarship.
The Pay It Forward Scholarship is the Foundation’s newest merit-based award, for alumni, and is provided to assist first-generation college students with their academic pursuits. Michael, a senior studying Marketing and Digital Media Management at SUNY-New Paltz, will receive $2,500 for assistance with tuition, textbooks and/or other expenses related to his education and/or career development. This scholarship is funded exclusively by THF alumni, family and friends. View the contributor list here!
Michael was selected for his outstanding academic achievements, extra-curricular involvement, and determination. Michael maintains his G.P.A as a double major and is on the Dean’s List at SUNY – New Paltz. He has also served as President of The Kappa Sigma Fraternity – Xi Gamma Chapter from 2019-2020.
This past summer and fall he interned at WarnerMedia and was nominated to participate in Publicis Groupe’s 2020 MCTP (Multi-Cultural Talent Pipeline) virtual event in October.
