The Foundation provides alumni and members of its programs with ongoing resources and support needed to establish and advance their careers. Through this supportive process, the Foundation’s goal is to be a long-term resource for career development and workforce diversity in an ever-changing business environment.
Career and Alumni Services is comprised of four key components:
- Alumni Network – Our alumni network consists of more than 1,100 members and increases, on average, by 11% each calendar year. The Foundation maintains contact with alumni to stay abreast of where they are in their respective careers, keep them engaged with the Foundation, and provide access to career development resources and support.
- Talent Pool (Full-time) – We currently over 400 active and pre-screened candidates in our talent pool whose experiences range from entry level (0-2 years) and above (5+ years) across various disciplines (sales & marketing, analytics, communications, finance, and operations) and industries (media & entertainment, advertising, public relations, and technology).
- Job Board – Our online job board provides THF members with access to full-time career opportunities across the U.S., with partner companies in media & entertainment, advertising, technology, etc.
- Professional Development – We provide career coaching, on-site events, and virtual training (webinars) to help our members advance at all stages of their careers.
Since 2011, the total number of THF alumni hired into full-time positions has exceeded 700, with nearly 500 hired within the media and entertainment industry and over 200 hired in other industries including advertising, public relations, financial services, and technology.
In 2017, 158 THF alumni were hired into full-time roles, with 115 hired within the media and technology industries and 43 hired at companies such as Accenture, American Express, IBM, Newell Brands, Oracle, and Plated.
