                                       …donations help provide opportunities to multi-ethnic minority students

Every dollar donated to the Foundation helps us recruit, select, train and place multi-ethnic minority students into valuable professional work experiences in the multimedia and entertainment industry. We prepare and support our interns by providing a mandatory two-day orientation and assigning them a mentor, available to provide guidance and support during their internship.

In addition, THF staff is available to answer questions, and offer professional advice when needed.  We take pride in helping our interns become successful professionals. Via our partnerships with NAMIC (National Association of Multiethnics in Communications) and WICT (Women in Cable Telecommunications) we are able to offer our interns free one year student memberships.

This year, for the first time, we will be offering access to entry level employment opportunities through our new job board.  Along with the job board, we will offer career counseling and professional tips. Last, but not least, every year, the T. Howard Foundation offers scholarships to assist with tuition and housing for internship opportunities.
