| How To Apply For A T. Howard Internship |
To apply for a T. Howard internship you must submit the following materials along with a complete online application:

Official transcript (Submitted by mail only)

Official Letter of Recommendation – On letterhead with original signature (Submitted by mail only)

Resume (Submitted online only)

Essay (Submitted online only)

Online Application Form (Submitted online only)
After you have submitted the online application you will be notified via email. Your application will be considered complete after all supporting materials have been received by the T. Howard Foundation, at which time you will be notified via email.
Step 1 : Request an official transcript be sent to our office from your campus registration and records office to:

Step 2: Request a letter of recommendation

Ask for a letter of recommendation from a professor, academic advisor, former employer, volunteer supervisor, community leader or person of authority who can speak to your work ethic and/or personal character.

An official letter of recommendation is one that is one letterhead and includes an original signature

The 2010 Letter of Recommendation guidelines can be accessed by clicking here. Print this form, write your name in the space provided and give a copy to the individual who will be writing your letter.
Step 3: Update your resume

Update your resume and prepare to upload later. Visit your campus career services center to get assistance with resume writing and formatting.

Resumes should be kept to ONE-PAGE in MS Word format and include all computer skills. Please list your permanent AND current contact information.

Return to this page and scroll to the bottom where it says “Are You Ready To Apply?”

Create a user name and password to establish a profile with our online application system. Be sure to write down your username and password in a safe place. The T. Howard Foundation DOES NOT collect or have access to your login information. If you forget your username and password we cannot provide it to you.

Complete the online application form and upload your resume and essay
Your application will be considered complete after all supporting materials have been received by the T. Howard Foundation, at which time you will be notified via email. Your application will not be reviewed until it is complete.
