Position Summary:
Manage the development and fulfillment of all solutions, sponsorships and Value-Earned Marketing opportunities for specific assigned networks.  Execute a high volume of customized elements for Ad Sales deals. This requires the ability to represent the organization when dealing with clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with National Sales Managers (NSMs) to respond to client RFPs in a timely manner.
  • Lead the ideation and execution process between Ad Sales, Networks and Clients.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Sponsorship and Value Earned Database.
  • Manage the Sponsorship Overview and Tracking grid for the respective networks.
  • Manage crisis situations between Ad Sales, Networks and clients.
  • In Director’s absence, manage members of the Sponsorship Team.
  • Manage one direct report.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills, training and/or experience required
  • 7-10 years of integrated marketing experience (such as advertising agency, media. sales/marketing, event marketing, client side marketing). 
    Experience in TV/Cable and/or ad sales marketing or ad sales a plus.
  • Personnel supervisory experience required and may include managing a project team or outside vendors/partners.
  • Experience processing and responding to client RFP's.
  • Candidate must possess maturity, professionalism and poise, and have proven experience interacting with top-level, business executives, as the position requires direct contact with senior Ad Sales management, key clients and talent, and is a brand representative in the marketplace.
  • Successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to work independently, be creative, detail oriented, attentive to deadlines, have outstanding customer service skills, possess initiative and have proven project management skills (organizational, managing timelines, selling ideas/proposals).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
